Enterprise RAG Deployment

Enterprise-scale RAG: every document at your fingertips.

Every PDF, document, scan, and knowledge artefact in your organisation becomes searchable and citable. We build retrieval-augmented generation systems engineered for high-fidelity answers: chunking strategies tuned to your content, grounded citations, hallucination guardrails, and access control.

The situation

The value rarely sits in finding things. It sits in trust. A system that returns plausible-sounding answers without a source anyone can check stops being used after two weeks. One that surfaces documents the person asking is not allowed to see gets switched off.

How we work

Corpus and access model

We review which holdings should genuinely be opened up, and inherit your existing permissions rather than reinventing them.

Deliverable

Ingestion plan with an inherited permission model

Ingestion and preparation

Processing PDFs, scans, office documents, and knowledge artefacts, with chunking strategies tuned to your content rather than to a standard recipe.

Deliverable

Production ingestion path across the relevant holdings

Answer quality and evidence

Answers with a checkable source, guardrails against invention, and an honest answer when the corpus does not support one.

Deliverable

Grounded answers with citations and hallucination guardrails

Evaluation and operation

A test set of real questions from your business units, against which every change is checked, plus monitoring in live operation.

Deliverable

Evaluation set, quality metrics, and operational monitoring

What you get

  • A searchable and citable knowledge base across formats
  • Answers with sources rather than plausible assertions
  • Access control that respects the permissions you already have
  • An evaluation set of real questions and continuous quality measurement
  • Operation in your environment, cloud or on-premises

Engagement

Duration
Depends on corpus size and format variety. We start with a bounded corpus.
Getting started
A conversation about holdings, formats, and the permission landscape.
Who is involved

Business units as the source of real questions and for sign-off

Document and system owners for holdings and permissions

Data protection and security for access and logging

Format

Start with a bounded corpus, then widen step by step

Quality is measured, not asserted

Operation in your environment, cloud or on-premises

Frequently asked

Do existing permissions still apply?

Yes. Permissions are enforced at retrieval, not merely at display. Nobody gains access through search to documents that would otherwise be closed to them.

Which document formats can you connect?

The usual office and PDF holdings, scanned documents via text recognition, plus wikis and ticket systems. Format variety is surveyed up front because it drives the effort.

Who owns the code, models, and results in the end?

You do. Code, configuration, and documentation transfer to you in full, in your repositories and your environment. We build so your team can carry on without us.

Where do our data and models run?

In your environment. Your own cloud, your own data centre, or on-premises, in a Swiss or European region on request. Data leaves your environment only for the providers you explicitly approve.

Do you work remotely or on-site?

Both. We are based in Zürich and work on-site across Switzerland; the day-to-day of the engagement works remotely.

Can we start with a small, bounded step?

Yes, and that is the norm. The first slice is deliberately small so something usable exists early and the decision about the next step rests on experience rather than on a plan.
